I uploaded 9 images in the HP slideshow but when I did that there was an issue with the layering off the image and logo (that appears and disappears) and the filtering layer that should be in front and not behind the image.
I deleted 2 slides then, and now the slides are 7 but we would like to have 9 images in HP.
Do you know why we had this issue? I believe it is something related with the number of the slides or perhaps the images are too heavy.

the solution is to increase the z-index of the overlay content.
add this to theme options -> styling options -> custom css:
.slider-overlay-content {
z-index: 11 !important;
}
