I can't seem to order my projects in the Ajax portfolio settings. I have looked thoroughly through the backend of Wordpress in "Portfolio" > "Portfolio Items" and can't get my Dap Nine project (which is currently the second featured project) to be the first project, above the Bario Theme project.
or simply go to portfolio item options and modify Published On field to be later or earlier - depends where you want be displayed (the portfolio items are displayed by default latest first)

Best is to install a post type order plugin, such as this one
https://wordpress.org/plugins/post-types-order/
